Job description

To establish IKEA Southeast Asia as the preferred employer by attracting those who share the IKEA

and remain with IKEA Southeast Asia. The HR Strategy supports the overall direction of the business and will be achieved by: 
- Building a stable and solid HR foundation with well- defined HR processes that is capable of
executing at a high level every day.
- Developing a strong business competence that creates value for our customers and co-workers
- Establishing a leadership that is able to grow the business through people, guided by our strong
company culture and values. Be a strong contributor to the development of both Centre Business and co-workers, secure HR
subject matter expertise, process HR operations matters and ensure that the HR strategies are
translated into action in the most effective and efficient way in order to fulfil the purpose of the HR
function and the day to day as HR Manager to JB Shopping Centre and a support role to Service Office
Shopping Centre.


1. Understand and behave company culture & values.
2. University degree and extensive professional training or similar qualifications
3. Leadership earned through at least 8 years of management experience
4. Knowledge of local laws and regulations concerning the labour market
5. Ability to acquire and analyze local market demographics, economic and labour market conditions.
6. Trustworthy, honest, fair, good judgment Working experiences as the HR managers
7. Retail/shopping centre environment
8. Fluent in English (written and spoken) Ability to be hands-on when needed
9. Ability to communicate organisation values as well as good communication and influencing skills
10. Able to work in a matrix organization and manage multiple stakeholders 
11. Encourages teamwork, good relationship- builder with people at all levels
12. Strong drive and problem-solving approach with attention to details Interest in home furnishings
