Why we will love you

5+ years as a manager with experience from retail and/or service-based operations country/company level together with responsibility to drive P&L result, business steering or finance related fields.

5 years of experience within the last 10 years as a foreman, journeyman, supervisor level position, or owner

**Must have NASCLA Accreditation and/or ICC F11/G11 Accreditation and/or bachelor’s degree in building construction from an accredited 4-year college**

Required to have experience with remodeling, electrical, plumbing, and residential building construction in at least 3 of the following areas: Foundation/slabs/elevated slabs/structural formwork, Masonry Walls, Column erection, Steel erection, Wood framing, Structural demolition

Previous Construction/home improvement industry experience.
Prior experience working with subcontractors.
Preferred one year of experience in the construction of structures at least four stories in height

Preferred 5 + years in a multi-million dollar, multi-state construction-based operation

Preferred prior experience as a state qualifier or the qualifying party for purposes of a company’s general contractor license

Experience with change management, business growth and handling people consequences

What you'll be doing day to day

• Ownership of all field operations in including measurement, assembly and installation services using field coworkers and external service partners (Referral Partners)
• Contributes to the overall profitability of the US Installation Services Business working closing with IKEA Home Services Manager and Business Navigation to align P&L goals and results.
• Responsible for meeting/exceeding performance standards related to: gross margin, install labor rates, installed revenue, installation cycle time, Customer Satisfaction Surveys and installation capacities in each market.
• Identify trends based on customer feedback and initiate changes to benefit the markets and overall Customer experience.
• Assist the company in obtaining licenses in multiple states and municipalities; passing trade, business, and law exams - or as required by state
• Manage company liability and risk when needed e.g. finance, legal and compliance and partner with the appropriate functions to mitigate risk.
• Ensure that the market works ethically and in compliance with internal regulations and external laws including legislation relating to risk, environment, health and safety.
• Collaborate with recruiting to develop an employee network within each market
• Develop and manage with Regional Managers a referral partner network in each market.
• Develop Regional Managers and mentor team members to create a pool of talent that will create additional opportunities for individuals and the business.
• Identify opportunities to develop and expand existing business relationships with external Referral partners.
• Contribute constructive and critical thinking ideas to improve all operations.

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours – up to 40 hours a week

The salary pay range for this role is: $108,992 - $144,387
