• Drive towards a consistent, seamless positive customer experience in Core Area (including service products) through all channels; • Secure Retail foundation by working with the Core area team to ensure that store is in shape as new with fully stocked sales spaces at all times throughout the day; • Lead the team in securing relevant and inspiring home furnishing solutions together with developing home furnishing competence in Core Area that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition; • Secure the country and store commercial priorities in Core Area in order to drive the sales growth and profitability; • Working with the commercial team to ensure that the range changes within each shop are planned and managed in a simple and commercial way and reflect local market needs and seasonal changes; • Deliver a commercial action plan for the Core Area and secure alignment with store commercial action plan together with store team and in line with country; • Inspire and motivate managers and co-workers in Core Area and engage them fully in the IKEA objectives; • Identify and develop the many talents in Core Area within the team to secure competent and high-performing co-workers, and proper succession planning. • Understand the IKEA social and environmental commitments and know how you can contribute to sustainability.
