Right now we are looking for Marketing & Communication Communicators, Marketing & Communication Technical Specialists & Marketing & Communication Supports to join our teams. As part of a Marketing & Communication function you create an impactful and attractive offer through marketing and communication to reach IKEA positioning, brand and growth objectives.
As Marketing & Communication Communicator you are responsible for creating and securing high quality communication content for our consumer facing touch points and by that, making the buying process easy and smooth for our customers throughout their shopping experience. Based on insights you identify and define communication needs and you create the right pre-conditions for customers to understand, compare and choose the right product. You brief, approve and follow up connected to the execution of communication in the different media activation projects and you proactively inform communication production suppliers about upcoming plans to secure the content readiness.
As Marketing & Communication Technical Specialist you are responsible for creating and securing high quality technical communication content for all consumer facing touch points to make the buying process easy and smooth for our customers. Based on insights and customer needs you identify and define the need of technical communication content, e.g., in/on package communication, measurements and care instructions, in order to make the customer understand, compare and choose the right product. You are responsible to brief, approve and follow up technical communication.
As Marketing & Communication Support you are responsible for administrating high quality communication content through systems and coordinate workflow between functions within the Marketing & Communication team and other relevant networks. You administrate the identified & defined communication, and relevant range, for all consumer facing touch points and media activation projects, including follow-up and securing the brief content when relevant.
In order to be successful in the role you need to have a strong knowledge and passion in the marketing and communication field as well as experience in brand and marketing management. You have a deep interest in product development and creating solutions for a better everyday life for the many people and you are passionate about making the IKEA vision come true in every product. You have excellent communication skills, passion for home furnishing and life at home and the ability to use communication as a strategic tool. You are a true ambassador of the IKEA culture and values and you are fluent in English, both spoken and written!
Other things we feel are important;
You have experience in marketing and communication, including digital and preferably an academic degree in Marketing or equivalent.
You have knowledge about competitors, market trends and consumer behaviour and you have an excellent ability to develop a strong and commercial customer meeting through communication and follow up on business impact.
You have a proactive attitude in problem solving and you are guided by simplicity and always strive to exceed expectations by delivering high quality communication
You enjoy taking initiatives and to lead and drive product and range communication content and you have the ability to network cross functions and organisations.
You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you have the ability to juggle competing priorities when receiving assignments with tight deadlines.
As a person you are analytical, structured, detailed and goal oriented, with the ability to see the things from different angles and you are definitely open to drive new ideas!
